Date: June 21st 2024 : The South Korean Ambassador H.E Ambassador CHANG Jae bok, along with Mr. Suresh Chukkapalli, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea, Telangana has visited SCSC and held an interactive discussion with the Executive Committee members of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) to understand how the public private partnership of this organization works and how it has benefitted the industry & the society as a whole.
SCSC General Secretary Mr. Ramesh Kaza and Ms. Padma Priya presented various SCSC initiatives on safety & security to the visiting delegation. Since started in 2006, how SCSC is helping the city to grow to be a vibrant place while safety and security are of paramount focus. Speaking at the meeting, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad Mr. Avinash Mohanty, IPS., said that he has seen SCSC as a DCP few years ago, and now also as a CP – one great feature of SCSC is the enthusiasm of the professionals from the industry, who take their personal time out, and act as volunteers to service the society, in a very sustainable manner, over the last 18 years.
HE Ambassador Chang Jae Bok said that he is very impressed that this public – private partnership is working and would like to see how Korean’s expertise on better traffic management can be picked up and implemented here for a better driving experience in Hyderabad. Mr. Suresh Chukkapalli said that Phoenix has been actively collaborating with SCSC and support their programs.
Economic Minister-counsellor CHO Sungjoon, 2nd secretary AHN Hanbyul, 2nd secretary JEON Chanho, Public Diplomacy Assistant YU Hanbyeol, KOTRA Southeast Asia region director Bin Joonhwa & KOTRA Bengaluru Trade office head MOON Seo young were also part of the team who has visited SCSC and Cyberabad Police Commissionerate & Cyberabad Jt. CP Traffic Mr D Joel Davis, IPS., from Cyberabad Police team were part of this meeting. Several of the Executive Committee (EC) members of SCSC in this meet.
