Cyberabad CP Sri VC Sajjanar, IPS., felicitated Nurses On the occasion of International Nurses Day

Hyderabad, May 12th, 2021: On the eve of International Nurses Day, Continental Hospitals, in association with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) arranged Covid Safety Protocols session by group of Nurses and distributed 150 Covid-19 safety kits to Print and Electronic Media persons at the Cyberabad Commissionerate to mark International Nurses Day.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Sri VC Sajjanar, IPS., in presence of Krishna Yedula, SCSC General Secretary Council & HYSEA President Bharani Aroll felicitated the Nurses for their tireless work during pandemic.
The Nurses of Continental Hospitals, explained the importance & steps about Hand Hygiene and How to correctly wear a mask.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. VC Sajjanar appreciated th efforts of Nurses,Doctors & Healthcare Staff & Management for leading th war against Covid from th front. He lauded their efforts & their commitment during this pandemic. They are all living gods for th humanity. He also said until this deadly Covid-19 virus goes completely out of our lives, we must not lower our guard. Following all safety protocols like wearing of masks, gloves, maintaining physical distance, and other steps are necessary.
Speaking on the occasion on International Nurses Day Ms Haritha Vijayan, Chief Nursing Officer, Continental Hospitals, mentioned today is day to celebrate, observe and shine a light on the amazing work that the nurses are doing as a frontline warrior during this pandemic situation.She further added, the theme of international Nurses’ Day 2021 is Nurses to lead – the Vision of Future Health Care is very apt for the current time.
The International Council of Nurses, a Federation of Nurses’ Associations from around the World has announced _ A Voice to Lead – A Vision for Future Healthcare _ as the theme for the International Nurses Day 2021 with the view to showcase how nursing will look into the future and how the profession will transform the next stage of healthcare.
